The literature on self-improvement and motivation is vast. To this we can look for ideas on how to proceed. There are several key areas which have been repeatedly identified by motivational gurus over the years.


These will all be discussed here in depth in due time. Some of them are:
Thinking about the goal and especially the positive outcomes which are sought from that goal. You can make this as optimistic as you like, as long as it is motivating you to take steps towards the real achievement of the goal.
Copying those who have succeeded in the field.
Thinking of your goals so much, in a positive, eagerly anticipating way, that other things in your life get crowded out.
Just being determined not to fail.
Not caring what other people think.
Doing whatever it takes as you work towards your goal.
Not letting setbacks discourage you. Everything is a learning experience and we usually learn more from failures than from successes.
